Personal and Family Care Membership

Hello and welcome - to Shilpa Davé Health. Good GP care should feel personal. It should give you time to be heard; as well as continuity with a doctor who knows you; and easy access when you need it. At Shilpa Davé Health, we've designed our practice to deliver exactly this. Many patients tell us that short appointments don't allow enough time for proper assessment. They want a GP who understands their history, and can spot issues early. They also want care that prevents problems - not just reacts to them. Our approach is different. By practicing proactive, personalised medicine and using the latest diagnostics and advanced blood testing markers for disease: We focus on understanding the root causes of illness, not just treating symptoms. By keeping our patient list small, we can also offer the time, and attention that good general practice requires. To deliver this care consistently - we have moved to a members-only model. Membership removes per-appointment billing and barriers to booking. From 2026, everyone joining our practice will be able to choose from three membership options. The first option is called 'Access'. This is free to join and lets you register with us on a pay-as-you-go basis. It's ideal if you want flexibility without a monthly commitment. The second, and most common option is the Personal Care membership. This is designed for individuals who want certainty and continuity in their healthcare. It includes thirty-minute GP consultations as standard, and unlimited appointments, subject to fair use. Personal Care also includes same or next-day access when unwell; continuity with a named GP; and referrals and administration at no extra charge. You'll also have secure WhatsApp access to the practice during working hours. For households, we also offer a Family Care membership at one hundred and seventy pounds per month. This covers up to two adults, and all your children under a single membership. This option includes everything in Personal Care, and some additional benefits for the whole family. Family Care provides same-day priority access for children when they're unwell; greater flexibility across your household; and an annual core health screen for two adults. This is the best option for those looking for one practice, and one GP who knows your whole family. You will have heard the term 'fair use' in this video. This simply means care is used sensibly so we can offer timely access to all members. Most people never come close to it, and we're always here when you need us. Many thanks for watching.
